The Introduction of League of Jewelry Dealers of Asia

While the world economy has been increasingly gotten incorporate today, going back to the original has become a kind of vogue, a kind of earnest hope to the peace of the mankind, and it provides the new opportunity, enormous challenge to the development of jewelry industry.
In Asia, there are rich treasure and jade resources, consummate processing technique, open and wide trade market. Especially, the culture content is abundant, and it makes the Asia have special position in the world. With the call of the history and the realities, the organization of Asia jewelry industries of their own —— League of Jewelry Dealers of Asia finally come into existence!
１．The course of preparations of League of Jewelry Dealers of Asia and Beijing representative branch
The foundation of the League of Jewelry Dealers of Asia has been deliberated by many colleagues in jewelry industry of all countries in Asia since 1998, was sponsored by Mr. Li Jinsong from big China, Mr. Lu Yixin from Hongkong, Mr. Xu Lunhua from Taiwan, Mr. Chen Ruilin, Mr. Lin Linchang, Mr. Lin Jinluan, Mr. Wang Shuse from Burma and many experts and well-known figures, was authorized by Macau Special Administrative Region government Haidao notary office in Dec. 13th, 2002.
The Registered serial number is Registda sob on CNI20021216 — 008. The text of the rule of the LJDA has been deposited in No. 29, Volume 1,2002 archives of association and financial group document file in which stores in Island office, Macao Special Administrative Region government from Dec. 13th, 2002. The Island office announced the certificate and rule of League of Jewelry Dealers of Asia on Macao Special Administrative Region official gazette. (Macao Special Administrative Region gazette page 7126-7128, group 2,volume 51, Dec. 18th, 2002). The registered legal person was Li Jinsong. The headquarters of League of Jewelry Dealers of Asia temporarily established in No.261, Laiyuan Road, North District, Macao. The homologous administrative body，the address, the registration of bank account was also completed.
After more than one year’s work, Beijing Representative Office of the LJDA was founded in Oct. 8th, 2003.with the direction and support of Chinese light Industry Jewelry Center, undertook by Chinese International Technique and Intelligence Cooperative Company, instructed by National Economy and Trade Committee, authorized by Beijing Foreign Economy and Trade Committee, The number of approval certificate is JING AO SHE B03—124. The chief representative is Li Jinsong. The representative is Qi Shicheng.
Beijing Representative Office of the LJDA was approved and awarded the resident representative office of foreign countries and regions, and the registered number is Qi Wai Zhu No.13008, the serial number is No. 0084717. And then The certificate of organization code of the People's Republic of China was distributed by Beijing Quantity Direct Bureau, code number: 76090074 — 9. The permit to apply to customs was gone though in the National Custom. The foreign exchange account was registered and put on records in the National Foreign Exchange Administration Bureau, Beijing Foreign Exchange Administration Department. The foreign exchange and Renminbi account was opened withTransportation Bank, Beijing branch.
The certificate that was put on records and registered as resident organization in Beijing was issued by Beijing Police Department. As we are un-profit-making association, the National Revenue Department granted us duty free certificate. Thus all legal procedure was completed. Now we can make formal declaration that Beijing Representative Office of the LJDA is founded.
2. The aim of the League of Jewelry Dealers of Asia
The aim of the LJDA is to build a bridge with the Asian jewelry industries, to become ties between international jewelry circles, to develop jewelry culture, to promote the development of jewelry industries, to give impetus to the science, technology and education of jewelry in Asia, to make the Asian markets prosper, to serve for firms, to unite and cooperate, to carry out study, discussion, training, exchanges, communication, exhibition and forum on jewelry, to make investigations, appreciation and evaluation of works of jewelry, to make good use of all kinds of media to deliver the latest information and developments between the Asia and international jewelry industries, “to arouse mankind’s aspirations for peace again by history.”
3. The organization of the League of Jewelry Dealers of Asia
There are five departments and one office： member department，exhibition department( include the international exhibition department and the domestic exhibition department), consultation department, announcement and education department, outer connection department and office, which is divided of labor with individual responsibility for every arrangement and practice.
Second class organization:
Nowadays Beijing Representative Office has been founded, at the same time the Bijouterie manufacturers Association, Decoration Association, Jewelry Designer's Association, Su Dongpo Calligraphy and Painting Institute, the Committee of Appreciation and Evaluation of Jewelry have been founded. Other representative organizations are being established in the State of Qatar, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore and etc. Chinese Treasure and Jewelry Culture Seminar, Jewelry Education Association, Diamond Association, Jade Carving Association, Signet Association, Ornamental Stone Association, Pearl Association etc. are being set up.
4. The major work and task of the League of Jewelry Dealers of Asia in the near future
(1) To make further improvement to establish and perfect organization, put the tasks, responsibilities and personnel arrangement of the five departments and one office into effect as soon as possible.
(2) To try to do well in the establishment of Beijing Representative Office of the LJDA, explore and give experience for establishing the representative and subordinate organizations in the other regions, make full use of time to constitute the representative organization in provinces, cities and districts concerned.
(3) To connect with related internet station, to set up the internet station of LJDA of his own once the condition is mature, to get in touch with the world in order to enlarge the influence of our association.
(4) To make joint efforts to manage Jewelry Commercial Information magazine; to set up Asia jewelry newspaper, make it gradually become the journal and newspaper of our association, so as to provide the jewelry industry in Asia and the world with the new mouthpiece.
(5) To consult with Beijing Jewelry College and other units, jointly set up Jewelry University of Asia.
(6) To arrange international and domestic exhibitions, get in active touch with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, strive for their support; jointly establish the jewelry museum of Asia.
(7) To prepare to hold the celebration for the foundation of the LJDA and the high-level forum on the development of the Asian jewelry industry in the People's Congress Hall.
(8) To recruit new members into the LJDA actively, including group members and personal members.
The founding of the LJDA indicates that a new development stage of the jewelry industry in Asiawill come . It is the common aspiration of the jewelry industry in Asian.
